Obstructive jaundice
slippage of gall bladder stones into bile duct often leads to blockage of bile duct which is most common cause of obstructive jaundice. At NIG we recently removed a large 2 cm stone from bile duct by endoscopic surgery called ERCP. This is non incision method by which stones from bile duct can be removed and patient is sent home on same day.
